Who runs this site, how it makes money, how figures are sourced, and how to report an error — including an explicit retraction of the old “daily news” framing.

Who operates this

rcm.today is operated by AdvancedCare USA Inc. AdvancedCare sells EHR, revenue cycle services, ClinicPay.ai, and RCMBoost (among other healthcare tools) to outpatient practices. We are not a newsroom, not a hospital, and not an independent consumer advocacy organisation.

How this site makes money

This site is a lead-generation and trust property for AdvancedCare’s revenue-cycle products and services. Free tools and reference pages attract practice decision-makers; some of them contact us; some of those conversations become customers.

We state that in plain language because the alternative — sounding like neutral editorial while functioning as a funnel — is how this domain previously failed. Disclosure is not optional here; it is the commercial model done honestly.

What changed (the old news framing)

Earlier versions of this site claimed daily or continuous publication, a morning newsletter digest, and tracking of state Medicaid bulletins. Those claims were false. There was no daily desk and no newsletter. The site now positions as a decision and benchmarking resource with a free calculator. Occasional sourced articles may appear under /news; that is not a cadence promise.

Methodology and sourcing policy

Every factual, regulatory, or benchmark claim must carry a real source URL, a publisher, and a visible as-of date. Preferred sources: CMS, HFMA, MGMA, Premier, KFF, Federal Reserve, USPS, and primary trade reporting that names the underlying dataset.

If a figure cannot be sourced, we omit it or say it varies. Calculator constants live in a versioned JSON model validated at build time for freshness. Every benchmark and formula on this page is sourced and dated above. Where a figure is a range, the range is the honest answer, not a hedge. If you think something here is wrong or out of date, tell us — corrections are logged and dated.

Corrections

Email news@rcm.today or use the form below. We log material corrections with a date. Disagreeing with a range is welcome; we will not invent precision to win the argument.

Contact

Corrections, calculator disputes, or a request to review your numbers — we sell RCM services and will say when you do not need them.
